Bring an existing project
Existing projects enter Hasanat directly as projects, without the idea and spec stages, and their owner is their lead. You do not need to change your stack or move your repository.
When this path fits
Section titled “When this path fits”- You have a working app, code, or a prototype that serves a real need.
- You want volunteers for specific roles, or you want people to find your project.
- You own or lead the project.
If the app belongs to someone else and you want people to find it, suggest it to the app directory. See listing on apps.hasanat.dev (in Arabic).
- Write a brief for your project with the same template. Project pages on hasanat.dev take their text from the brief files in the projects repository. See the brief and spec template (in Arabic).
- Request a listing from the platform dashboard after signing in, and choose “list an existing project on hasanat.dev”. Include the project’s name, link, repository if any, who leads it, the roles it needs, and the brief or a link to it.
- Follow the request in the dashboard. A maintainer works with you in the request’s note until the project appears on hasanat.dev with its lead and stage: Building or Live.
- After the listing, open the roles you need and answer “I can help” requests.
Never put passwords, keys, or other secrets in a request.
Optional services
Section titled “Optional services”Request each service separately from the dashboard:
- A subdomain such as
name.hasanat.dev, even if the app is hosted outside Cloudflare. See deployment and subdomains. - Shared sign-in works when the app is served on a hasanat.dev subdomain. If the app stays on another domain, request “sign-in for an external app”. See sign-in.
- A Cloudflare D1 database. See database.
If you built it with an app builder
Section titled “If you built it with an app builder”You don’t need to write code yourself to build a project. Tools such as Replit, Lovable, Bolt, and v0 build apps from a text description, and some of them host them too.
- Build your app with the tool that suits you.
- Deploy it anywhere: on the tool’s own hosting or any other platform.
- Follow the steps above to list it, and request a subdomain if you want one.
App builders suit simple projects. If you later need shared sign-in or a D1 database, moving to the Hasanat starter may be easier.
